Tracksters Compete at Classic

The Norfolk Track Classic is an invitation only track meet for all Northeast Nebraska area track athletes. This event is open to participants from classes A,B,C, D. In order to qualify for the Classic you need to have posted one of the leading times in Northeast Nebraska in the running events or leading marks in the field events.
Qualifying for the Cardinals were Girls; Steph S. in the 800 and the Girls 4x800 (Steph S, Katie L, Brandy S, Moriah L). Qualifying for the Boys were Blake R in the 100m and 200m. Tim S in the 1600m and 3200m. The Boys 4x100m Relay (Doug R, Jonathan P, Jerad G, Blake R) also qualified.
The locals had quite a night with the Girls 4x800 Relay placing 3rd, the Boys 4x100 Relay placing 4th, and Blake R placing 3rd in both the 100m and 200m dashes. Congratulations to all the athletes that participated.
