All-State Choir and Band Auditions

Students auditioning for All-State Choir are Emily S., Jaleen A., and Hannah B. The vocal auditions consist of scales and music selections designated for the All-State Choir performance in November. The girls will audition in Norfolk on October 10
Katie K. will audition on Clarinet this year. She is required to learn an excerpt from the music selected for the 2009 All-State Band, prepare two etudes, and perform several scales on her instrument.
The NMEA All-State Band and Choir is the most prestigious honor band any musician in the state can receive, because one is competing with all class clarifications across the state of Nebraska. All taped auditions are put in a bucket and the top musicians are chosen.
