“The Young Americans”
For 3 Days of Workshops, Classes, and a Big Show!!!
National Music Outreach Tour
THE YOUNG AMERICANS, based out of Corona, California, are returning to Randolph Public School, Randolph NE, on March 21-23, for a three-day performance workshop. THE YOUNG AMERICANS, a non-profit organization, founded in 1962, by Milton C. Anderson, are a song and dance company consisting of 44 talented 18-22 year-old college and high school students, who will be teaching singing, dancing, and performance to all students in grades 4 through 12.
THE YOUNG AMERICANS focus on youth. Music is a tool used to bring people together and build up their self-confidence. The National Music Outreach Tour was created in 1992 to help promote music in our nation’s schools, and to help students grow as individuals and realize their potential. Many of these students would never have the chance to participate in a workshop such as this. The students work in a three-day workshop, learning a repertoire of songs and dances. On Tuesday night, the entire company will perform a fantastic two-act show, with THE YOUNG AMERICANS performing the first act, and all area students joining them for act two. The cost is $47.00 per student for all three days.
