Welcome to the Guidance Office
The Guidance Program at Randolph High School includes:
- Assistance to all students in the areas of personal and social growth, academic support, and career and college exploration
- All students will complete the Career/Interest Inventory in Nebraska Career Connections and will complete an individualized Personal Learning Plan
- The Guidance Office works in conjunction with the Business and English departments, and Family and Consumer Science classes to ensure that students, grades 7-12, receive instruction for career and college planning
- Students, grades 9-12, receive support and resources for career, college, and scholarship planning
- Interested 11th grade students may take the PSAT Test
- Resources are provided to assist students with college preparation tests (i.e. John Baylor ACT Test Prep, ACT and SAT interactive software, hard copy practice tests, and web sites with tips and practice sessions)
- Eligible students are encouraged to take college credit classes
- Assistance with arrangement of college visits
- Assistance with scholarship searches
The Guidance Program at Randolph Elementary School includes:
- Second Step Curriculum
- A comprehensive K-6 program of weekly guidance lessons and activities
- Opportunities for individual counseling sessions
- Referrals upon request
