Disney Dinner Concert Held

The Disney Dinner Concert was held on Sunday, February 21. The concert started with the 7-12 band singing and performing "Be Our Guest". Nick, (Lumiare), welcomed, the crowd and the entire cast sang and danced. "Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho" and "Whistle While You Work" were sung as the students delivered the meal.
The meal was chicken cordon Blue, red potatoes, croissant, soup du jJour!(fruit soup), hot hors d'oeuvres!, cookies and cream salad, and Mickey Mouse Dessert.
After dinner was served, the band performed selections from "Aladdin". Hannah B., (Cruella De Ville) sang "Cruella De Ville". Juniors Katie K, Jaleen, Emily, and Hannah B., all performed "Reflection" from the movie "Mulan"; and the band played "The Little Mermaid". The chorus sang and danced to the "Jungle Book's", "The Bare Necessities." The high school chorus performed "When She Loved Me" with a vocal solo from Jolee, (Jesse) and "You've Got a Friend in Me." "You'll Be in My Heart" featured Jacob S., (Tarzan) and the 9-12 chorus. The band played a collection of Disney tunes from "A Disney March". The selections were "Mickey Mouse Club", "Colonel Hathi's March",Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.". The Jr. High Chorus marched on stage with Jacob R., as Mickey Mouse, Sydney S., as Minnie Mouse, leading the way while singing "Mouse March." The Jr high choir moved to the side and sang Beauty and the Beast. Lisa K.,(Tinker Bell), started the song leading Lacey, (Belle) and Dakota, (Beast) to the dance floor. Emily S., (Pocahontus) sang "Colors of the Wind ". The 7-12 Band finished the evening with "The Lion King". Emily S. sang in the "Circle of Life" to finish the show.
