JV Boys Win Two

The Randolph JV Boys’ Basketball team improved to 10-5 on the season with a pair of road victories.  Friday saw the Cardinals travel to Neligh to battle the Warriors in a 2 quarter contest.  Randolph jumped out to a strong first quarter 21-8 advantage.  The Cards continued their strong play in the 2nd going on to a 35-11 victory. 

Leading scorers for the locals were Luke Andrew with 14 and Landyn Anderson with 11.  Connor Bloomquist chipped in 7, and Denton Kuhl rounded out the scoring with 3 points. 

Wakefield was the destination for the Saturday contest.  The locals put together one of their best efforts of the season.  The boys were able to start out fast and take a 16-8 first quarter lead.  Defense was the key in the 2nd quarter as the Cards held the home team to only 3 points in the quarter.  Randolph won the two quarter contest 28-11.

Six Cardinals were able to score on the evening with Landyn Anderson leading the way with 8 points.  Denton Kuhl and Seth Lackas each scored 6.  Connor Bloomquist and Luke Andrew had 3 points each, and Nathan Tunink rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
