Winter Program Notes
What a wonderful job the Randolph Elementary students did, showing their hard work and talents in music on December 10th. The students performed some very fast paced and up beat songs. The program opened with the Elementary band performing songs they had been working on, including Jolly Old St. Nick.
The Kindergartens showed off their talents for the first time in front of a large audience. They were fantastic.
The first, second, third grade performed Giddy Up, with the help of some instrumental sounds performed by Andy, Colby, Colin. The group then sang Superjollytwinklejingle-from the movie Elf and the help of the 3rd grade Candy Cane dancers.
The fourth, fifth, and sixth grade performed a couple of jazz choir pieces. The first song performed was Santa Claus Boogie and the students used the jazz choir movements to enhance the music. Then the Candy Cane Twist. The group sound fantastic and were a lot of fun to watch.
The program concluded with the all school song A Winter Wish. We had the help of Ariel on the Bass Xylophone and the Kindergarteners on the Jingle Bells. Special thank you to Abreanne for being my assistant with the kindergarteners.
Thank you students for works so hard and stay very focused. You looked and sounded great!
A big thank you to the faculty and staff for all their help and support in preparing. Thank you Mrs. Miller for your opening remarks and your extra pair of hands.
