Regular Board Meeting- 8:00 P.M. in High School Board Room

Student Fees hearing, Student Bullying Policy hearing, Parental Involvement Policy hearing, followed by the regular meeting.

Regular Meeting Agenda

Call to Order – adopt agenda – certify publication. Call to Order at _______. It is hereby determined that this meeting was preceded by publicized notice in the Randolph Times on June 27^th, 2018 and is hereby duly convened in open session.

Action Items
1. Discuss, consider and appoint Superintendent Jeff Hoesing as Randolph Public School’s Chief Executive Officer, Local, State and Federal Programs Director and Affirmative Action Coordinator for the 2018-19 school year.
2. Discuss, consider and approve Jerry Synovec as school vehicle inspector for the 2018-19 school year.
3. Discuss, consider and approve an open account for purchasing employee life insurance and disability policies from Dearborn National Life Insurance Company at its standard premiums for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
4. Discuss, consider and and take all necessary action in appointing the building principals as route drivers, when necessary, when vans are used on that route.
5. Discuss, consider and take all necessary action in waiving the first reading and approving the final reading of the Certified and Classified handbooks, as presented, and to repeal and rescind, without limitation, all existing staff handbooks that pertain to the same matters or that are otherwise conflicting for the 2018-19 school year.
6. Discuss, consider and take all necessary action in approving the final reading of editions or new board policies, as presented, within the following chapters: 1000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 and 8000 and to repeal and rescind, without limitation, all existing board policies that pertain to the same matters or that are otherwise conflicting.
7. Discuss, consider and take all necessary action to participate in a jr. high football cooperative program with Winside Public School for the fall 2018 season.

AGENDA FOR ANNUAL PUBLIC HEARING ON STUDENT FEES

The following is an Agenda for a public meeting of the Board and a special public hearing to be held by Randolph Public Schools. The public meeting and special public hearing will be held on the 16^th day of July, 2018. The meeting will commence at 8:00 o’clock p.m. The location of the public meeting and special public hearing is in the high school library, Randolph, Nebraska.

Call hearing to order.

1. Hold Public Hearing to discuss, consider, and receive input on Board of Education Policy #5416 - Student Fee Policy. The public will be given the opportunity to present information and opinions on the Student Fee Policy.

1. Review of the amount of money collected from students pursuant to, and the use of waivers provided in, the student fee policies of the District for the 2017 - 2018 school year.

AGENDA FOR ANNUAL PUBLIC HEARING ON STUDENT BULLYING POLICY

The following is an Agenda for a public meeting of the Board and a special public hearing to be held by Randolph Public Schools. The public meeting and special public hearing will be held on the 16^th day of July, 2018. The meeting will be held immediately after the Student fees hearing, scheduled for 8:00 pm. The location of the public meeting and special public hearing is in the high school library, Randolph, Nebraska.

Call hearing to order.

1. Review the Board of Education Policy #5415 on Student Bullying.

1. Hold Public Hearing to discuss, consider, and receive input on the Student Bullying Policy. The public will be given the opportunity to present information and opinions on the Student Bullying Policy.

AGENDA FOR SPECIAL PUBLIC HEARING ON

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT POLICY

The following is an Agenda for a public meeting of the Board and a special public hearing to be held by Randolph Public Schools. The public meeting and special public hearing will be held on the 16^th day of July, 2018. The public meeting will be held immediately after the Student fees hearing, scheduled for 8:00 pm. The location of the public meeting and special public hearing is in the high school library, Randolph, Nebraska.

1. Review the Board of Education Policy #6400 on Parental Involvement.
