Cardinals place 9th as a team at the Plainview Invite

The Randolph Wrestlers traveled to Plainview on Saturday to participate in the Plainview Tournament. The Cardinals did well placing 9th as a team out of 18 schools. Randolph had seven wrestlers participate with five wrestlers placing. Dylan Loberg placed 2nd going 2-1 in the tournament. Tyler Brunssen, Austin Korth, Jace Gubbels and Shawn Thelen all placed 6th. Austin and Jace both had reached their five match limits so they did not wrestle for 5th. Austin and Jace went 3-2 in the tournament, Tyler went 2-3, and Shawn ended up 1-3. Colten Korth and Derek Gall were the other two Randolph participants. Colten went 1-2 in the tournament and Derek went 0-2. Randolph next travels to Wakefield to participate in their pool tournament, on Saturday, February 4th. It is the last wrestling meet before Districts.
