The Randolph Junior Varsity Boys' Basketball team ended a 3 game stretch with a 2-1 record and a tournament title. The lone loss came to Crofton at home. The Cards jumped out to a 14-4 first quarter lead only to see Crofton outscore the locals 16-8 in the final period to take a 29-25 victory. Merrix Denn was high scorer for the Cardinals with 8 points. Carter Schnoor and Cade Linville each scored 6. Keaton . . .
The Cardinals travelled to Osmond for their last season games to play in the Osmond Tournament. The Cardinals took on the Osmond Tigers in opening round play. The first half saw the Cardinals struggling offensively with several missed opportunities and going into half trailing 11-8. The second half J. Taylor hit a 3 pointer to help spark the Cardinals offensively as they outscored the Tigers 18-8 and going on to win . . .
Randolph vs. Winside January 23, 2017 The Randolph Lady Cards jv squad hosted the Winside Jv on Monday, January 23. The JV team came away with a 19-9 victory in a 2 quarter game. Leading scorer was Kelsie Eledge with 11 points. Cindy Haselhorst followed with 4 points. Eledge also led the team with 4 steals on the night. The win improved the jv girls’ record to 11-5 on the year. . . .
The Cardinals ended their regular season participating in a Pool Tournament at Wakefield. The Cardinals entered four wrestlers and finished the day tied for fourth in team points. All four of Randolph's wrestlers placed with Noah Scott receiving 1st, Brandon Bloomquist receiving second, and Alex Schmit and Dalton Rath each bringing home third. Alex wrestled in the 132 lb weight bracket and went 3-1 on the day . . .
