The high school girls track team finished off a very good season last week at Burke Stadium and the NSAA State Track and Field Championships. The girls finished 14th overall in class D with 13 points. The weekend started with the 3200 relay team of senior Elle Bermel, junior Alyssa Fye, and freshmen Addison Villwok and Charlie Winkelbauer coming from behind a little to finish 7th with a season best time of 10:27.14. . . .
Landyn Anderson and Drew Loberg competed in the 2016 State Track Meet. Landyn competed in the High Jump. He jump well even though and injury slowed him at State as in did at District as he failed to make the opening height of 5'6". Drew had a great State Meet as he had personal bests in both 100 and 200 Meter Dash. He finished 4th in the 100 in a time of 11.48. Drew completed a great . . .
The Randolph Cardinal Golf Team will be making a second consecutive trip to the Class D state tournament next week after winning the D-3 district championship for the second straight year. The team score of 332 was good enough to finish first with Lewis and Clark Conference rivals Creighton finishing second with 335, and Osmond third with a 351. All three teams will represent the conference at the state meet next week . . .
