Summer Conditioning

May 13, 2020

As you probably have heard, Governor Ricketts announced that, beginning June 1, schools may open weight rooms and school facilities for summer conditioning. Randolph Public Schools remains concerned about the health and safety of all students and staff members. As a result, a parent or guardian who wishes to allow his or her child to use the weight rooms and school facilities must sign a form acknowledging the risks associated with the use of the weight room. Students must follow all social distancing and safety requirements.  While Randolph Public Schools endeavors to keep District property safe and clean, there is no guarantee that any surface, equipment or atmosphere is free from any germs, virus or other condition, and any person who voluntarily chooses to use the weight rooms and school facilities does so at his or her own risk.

Summer Weight Conditioning will begin on June 1st and go through July 30th.  It will be every Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am - 9:00 am.  Workouts can only last 1 hour so rides should plan on being there a little before 9:00.  Participants will need to come dressed in workout attire.  The locker rooms will only be used as a restroom facility and the locker area is off limits to students.  Water bottles will be provided or you may bring your own.  No one will be allowed to use the drinking fountains.  All DHM will be followed at all times including social distancing and proper cleaning of equipment.  Face masks are not required but are recommended by the Public Health Department.

On June 1st, students should come through the front doors (west side) of the Jr./Sr. High School building and go to the new gym.  You will turn in your Parent Permission Forms and have an informational meeting before beginning conditioning.  Students will not be allowed to participate until the Parent Permission Form is signed and turned in.  We look forward to seeing there!
