Cardinal Creative is a school-based business to provide additional community outreach, services, and work-related experiences for students interested in careers related to professional photography, printing, and graphic design.
Students are afforded the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals, area businesses and organizations in a professional capacity. This “out of the classroom perspective” pushes students to further develop communication skills while gaining a working knowledge of graphic design, printing and professional photography processes.
Students involved in the program learn how to capture and edit photographs, and create custom layouts using state of the art Adobe design software. After setting everything up, they are finally able to see the end result in the form of printed goods or digitally in the form of social media or other online presentation. This allows students to see the entire process to output and are encouraged to perform at a higher level as the work is being delivered to actual clientele.
Our well-equipped business includes a wide format printer which produces vivid color and professional grade image quality. Our printed products are highlighted by banners, posters, flyers, printed canvases, and a variety of other indoor signage possibilities. We can print on a variety of roll materials up to 44 inches wide. We also have a large format vinyl cutter/plotter capable of running vinyl or paper roll material up to 52 inches wide.
