Mrs. Miller has been involved in education for over 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska and a Master Degree of Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. Mrs. Miller has also done graduate work at Wayne State College and Kansas State University in school administration and sociology. Mrs. Miller spent much of her career teaching 7-12 Social Science at Randolph Public Schools. She continues to teach World History and Psychology at the high school level. Mrs. Miller has coached and sponsored numerous activities throughout her career. At the present time she also teaches Introduction to Sociology through Northeast Community College. Mrs. Miller truly enjoys the elementary principal position. She believes that all children can learn and that each child learns in different ways and at different rates. She believes that with hard work and perseverance we can touch each child in a special way. Keeping the atmosphere positive is the key to success as well as keeping the lines of communication open among staff, students, and parents. Mrs. Miller feels that teamwork is the ultimate way a school can be successful in reaching the goal of helping a child attain his or her potential. Mrs. Miller enjoys her family, flower gardening, and reading. Mrs. Miller has two married children; Adam who is married to Carly, and Kaitlyn who is married to Kyle. All of her children live in Lincoln along with the “apple of her eye” granddaughter Blair.
