MINUTES OF BOARD RETREAT MEETING
BOARD OF EDUCATION
7:00 P.M, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH, 2024

The board retreat meeting of the Randolph Board of Education was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Paul Schmit on February 26th, 2024, with the following present: Members: Paul Schmit, Sandy Owens, Jim Scott, Cody Backer, Lisa Linville, Superintendent Daryl Schrunk, Principal Beacom and Principal Bartels.
Paul Schmit announced and informed the public that a current copy of the open meetings act is posted in the boardroom.
Motion was made by Backer and seconded by Scott to hereby determine that this meeting was preceded by published notice in the February 14th, 2024, Randolph Times and hereby duly convened in open session. On roll call vote motion carried 5-0.
Motion was made by Linville and seconded by Schmit to excuse absent board member Lucas Miller. On roll call vote motion carried 5-0.
Representatives from Fakler Architects and BD Construction discussed with the board a master list of potential needs to the school facilities. A representative from First National Capital Markets presented several different financing options to complete potential school improvement projects. At 8:20 the board toured the facilities.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:47 p.m.
